Inspiring Verses Found in The Bible

By Richard Kingsley on May 20, 2012

Throughout the Scriptures, there’s lots of verses that give motivating words of wisdom. All of these motivating verses allude to God’s power and our ability to unite with His power. It is Love that unifies God with man and it is Faith that unlocks that Love.

The following is a list of inspiring Bible verses which have awesome power:

“…with God all things are possible.” – Matthew 19:26

This is a very inspiring statement made by Jesus. He knew that God’s power far surpasses the constraints of the human mind. It is only through God’s strength that seemingly impassable hurdles can be passed. By reading encouraging Bible verses daily, we can develop extremely strong Faith in God.

“The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land. You will be like a spring whose waters never fail.” – Isaiah 58:11

It is extremely comforting and motivating to know that, if we choose to follow our guide we’ll be satisfied. God does not want us to spend our time here on Earth being worried about food, shelter and money. This is made obvious in Matthew 6:26, where Jesus explains that if the birds in the sky do not have to worry about their next meal, then neither should we. God is far more than capable of taking good care of our needs.

“…all things are possible to him who believeth.” – Mark 9:23

When we cross reference this quote with Matthew 19:26 we can notice that “all things are possible to him who believes” and “with God all things are possible.” God is the life force that’s present in all things and when one wholeheartedly believes in this force, they unlock and unite with the just and loving power of The Almighty. The numerous uplifting Bible verses in the Scriptures allude to this.

“A cheerful heart is good medicine…” – Proverbs 17:22

This Proverb can, in fact, be scientifically proven. In the 1970′s Norman Cousins laughed himself back to great health soon after being diagnosed with a deadly disease. Having faith in God and remaining positive is the equivalent of having a cheerful heart.

“A generous person will prosper; who refreshes others will be refreshed.” – Proverbs 11:25

Generosity is an act of Love. Love is our gift from God. For people who elect to take this gift, more is offered and their faith in God is elevated.

There’s a lot of inspiring Bible verses that you can read on a daily basis in order to develop faith in God. These are merely a few of them.

Five European Cities you Must Visit

By admin on May 20, 2012

asked:

The only difficulty you face when planning a visit to Europe is deciding where to go. There is so much to see, so many beautiful cities and so little time that you are spoilt for choice. In no particular order, these are five cities that you should see. There are many, many more such as Barcelona, Madrid, Budapest, Prague ……

London. When you tire of London you tire of life as someone once said, and it is still true even now. London is dirty, noisy, crowded and the public transport isn’t the best in the world but there is something about London that has to be experienced. Hyde park, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, a walk along the Thames, Harrods, Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Soho. You can go on and on.

Paris. If you are planning a visit to Europe, how could you not spend at least a few days in Paris? It is probably the most chic city in the world, with its beautiful architecture, cafes, churches, monuments, art galleries and more. Walk along the Seine or take a bateau mouche to see the city from the river, climb the Eiffel tower, visit Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur, eat, drink and be merry.

Useful Information About Charity

By admin on May 19, 2012

Richard Romando asked:

Charity can be defined as the act of giving voluntary help, monetary or otherwise, to those in need. A charity can be an institution, organization, a single person or a group of people. Charity is an act of kindness and benevolence. A charitable act demonstrates love for fellow human beings. The institutions or organizations doing charity work are generally non-profit organizations that solicit and accept donations or gifts from individuals and corporate donors. A registered charity is a charity that is approved by the government to do charity work. Donors receive generous tax rebates in recognition of their service to humanity.

Charities provide assistance to people in need in different ways. Some of them provide relief for aged and poor people. There are charity houses that take care of sick and wounded military personnel. Some institutions provide free education for children while others provide food, shelter and clothing to poor children and orphans. Charities actively participate in the repair of bridges, ports, havens, causeways, churches and other such construction activities. They may also help in the rehabilitation of ex-prisoners and substance abusers.

From a legal aspect, charity is divided into four principal divisions. Charities help to improve the conditions the poor live in. They aim to provide quality education for needy children whose families can not afford to on their own. They also provide medical and interim relief in disaster prone areas and actively participate in projects that benefit a community.

There are some well-known charities that work to provide international charitable aid. The Red Cross is one of the biggest charity organizations in the world, and has collected and distributed aid in almost every country in the world. Charities, big and small, help to build pride, hope, trust and self-sufficiency in virtually every country.

Choosing A Paper Folding Machine For Your Church Office

By admin on May 19, 2012

Jeff McRitchie asked:

Paper folding machines are commonly used by all types of organizations. You might a paper folder in a corporate mail room, a government office, a school, a church or a print shop. All of these organizations process large numbers of documents and can greatly benefit from the assistance of a folding machine. However, each of these types of organizations has a special set of needs that need to be considered when choosing a paper folding machine. This article is designed to provide a list of five things that Churches need to consider when choosing a paper folding machine.

1. What types of folds do you need to produce? This is the first and most important question that you need to consider when choosing a paper folding machine. In general, most churches will need to fold their church bulletin and letters to congregation members. Generally, this means that they need to choose a paper folder that can do a z fold and half fold. However, some churches fold large format documents, legal sized church bulletins, tri-fold brochures or other materials. It is important that before you go shopping for a folding machine that you know what types of folds that you will need it to do.

2. How much folding are you going to need to do? This is an important question to ask when choosing a paper folder. More than likely the paper folder will be used to fold Church bulletins more than any other type of document. Ask yourself, “how many bulletins do we print each week?” If you are going to need to fold hundreds of bulletins every week you are going to want to make sure that you buy a paper folder that will hold up over time.

3. How often are you going to need to change folds? I know a lot of churches that very rarely ever change the settings on their folding machine. They use the folder for their weekly bulletins and nothing else. For these churches, a heavy duty paper folder with folding plates that are adjusted manually is ideal. However, other churches are constantly changing the settings on their folder to produce different types of documents (think back to question one). If you plan on folding lots of different types of documents or are going to need to change the fold settings more than once a week it would be a really good idea to get a folder that has either easy to adjust fold plates or is completely digital.

4. What types of papers are you going to need to fold? If you are going to need to fold heavy duty card stocks or glossy papers with your folding machine you are going to want to make sure that the folder can handle it. Many paper folders are not capable of handling heavy or coated paper stocks. In fact, even expensive folders often require card stock to be pre scored before being run. It is always a good idea to have your special papers tested in the paperfolder of your choice before you make your purchase. That way you will know for sure if they will work or not.

5. What sizes of papers are you going to need to fold? Again, it is important to try to anticipate the different types of documents that you are going to need to fold. If you think that you will need to make brochures out of 11″ x 17″ paper it is important to choose a folding machine that can handle this size of paper. Likewise, if the Church uses legal sized bulletins you will need a paper folder that can handle legal sized paper. Generally if you choose a folder that can handle 11″ x 17″ or larger paper then it will be able to handle all of the smaller sizes as well.

By asking yourself these five questions you should be able to focus your search for the right paper folding machine. Unfortunately, most churches end up settling on a paper folder that is not adequate for their needs and they usually regret it. Keep in mind that most paper folders that will stand up to the volume of folding that churches do will cost between $1200 – $3000 depending on the features that you require.
